As soon I changed my way of thinking about forex trading as a vehicle or medium to achieve my dreams, I saw a lot of improvement in my trading performance.
Before my goal is a million dollar account, buy a super-car, buy latest iphone, but super laptop.
Now my goal is spend time with my family, take care of our baby, do my outdoor hobby, meet my relatives and friends for a chat.
When my goal becomes this non-tangible my emotion in trading decrease, I trade almost unemotionally. Then I see a huge improvement in my trading.
I think trading goals should be like this, of course we need money why we trade, money will make all this thing possible. But the core focus should not be the numbers, and how much we want to earn on each trade, each month.
The reason for forex trading should be more of a enhance our way of life. That when we wake up tell yourself that you trade because this is what you want this is my passion, this gives me the freedom, this gives me the freedom to choose the lifestyle that I want.
I never ever focus on money outcome anymore, I become more focus on trading process. Following my trading rules religiously, trade my plan, break even, locking some profits. Allowing market to stopped out my stop loss is just normal, it has no big deal to me anymore.
