For example my parabolic live trading account took me about 5 months to decide to use it in live account.
For many new traders I know it is east to say 5 months is just easy to do back-testing and forward-testing. But doing on real, believe me it will really loose you out of focus, you will become impatient and you will try to do things against your rule and eventually you will do the HOLY GRAIL searching again.
I've been there, I always here back-testing, forward testing from people who made it successful but I'm a hard headed guy who believes that there is a holy grail, and there is a program that is really making sure profits.
The real holy-grail is back-testing, forward-testing and YOURSELF!
Impatience has no place in trading. This trading is real business that requires planning, following the rules, testing your system, applying your system based on the rules you set and tested for months.
